Thanks for linking to that, Tiny. I read some of his other posts, too. They are beautifully written and very uplifting.

Yeah, it's nice to see someone pointing out the value of passages like the one about Christ crucified in a way that isn't just turning it into fundamentalist jargon ratcheted up into holier than thou rhetoric. The holy rollers really have nearly ruined many such verses for me.
