Yeh, but I smiled AND cringed both at the same time at that one . .

The “One” is the space of the “world” of the tick, but also the “pinch” of the lobster, or that rendezvous in person to confirm online pictures (with a new lover or an old God). This is the machinery operative...as “onto-theology."

I don't know which is worse, trying to cope with the theology of it or thinking about the physical pain.

Re: Verses that make you smile or cringe
Here's a cringe-worthy quote from Yahweh:
Source.Hosea 13:16 (English Standard Version)
16[a] Samaria(A) shall bear her guilt,
because(B) she has rebelled against her God;
they shall fall by the sword;
(C) their little ones shall be dashed in pieces,
and their(D) pregnant women ripped open.
Re: Verses that make you smile or cringe
should it say 'shall' or "will??" It's not determining it must happen but predicting it will. On the other hand it's clearly as a consequence of their actions. Still it could be a warning that their attitudes will lead them down this path, not a statement that god will do this. I must check the context.Kane Augustus wrote:Here's a cringe-worthy quote from Yahweh:

I suspect a better likes with my overall take on the OT. it's a mix.
